Red Gold Review and Giveaway

Red Gold, which is a family-owned business that is based in Indiana. The company has been around since the 1940's and was focused on growing local in the Midwest (Michigan, Ohio, & Indiana), where true seasons impact the flavor of tomatoes.  They don't just stop with canned tomatoes, they also have ketchup, tomato juice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, stewed tomatoes, chili beans, and so much more.

Growing up in Michigan and now an Ohio girl, I am quiet familiar with the Red Gold brand.   It is a brand I love and trust.   It is quiet honestly the only brand of tomatoes I buy.  I was recently contacted by Red Gold to do a review and giveaway! 

I received a box with four cans of Red Gold Tomatoes (a variety of flavor), ketchup, Red Gold cookbook, reusable tote bag, Red Gold Key chain, recipe cards, magnet, etc.

I can't wait to try some of the new recipes featured on the cards and in the cookbook, but I stuck with an old favorite.  I made a goulash.  Simple but yummy on a cold day.

1 can of Red Gold Diced Tomatoes

1 can of Red Gold Tomato sauce

1/2 lb hamburger meat

Small pasta shells

Fresh garlic

Salt and pepper to taste
